User-friendly visual administration on the HTTP Bundle is performed from the Web Admin Console.
In the Web Admin Console, the Configuration page provides a special user interface for modifying configuration dictionaries, compliant with the OSGi Configuration Admin .
For all configurations of the HTTP Bundle updates are handled dynamically and no restarts of the HTTP Bundle are needed to save the changes.
To load an HTTP configuration:
Start the OSGi runtime if it is on the same machine, or if it is residing in a distant computer, make sure the server is on.
Install and start all components of the Web Admin Console and log in the framework.
Enter the Configuration page through the corresponding navigation tab.
Select one of the following configurations from the Configurations table:
HTTP Plain Server Configuration – Stands for the mbs.http.plain configuration dictionary.
HTTP Common Configuration – Stands for the mbs.http.pid configuration dictionary.
HTTP Secure Server Configuration – Stands for the mbs.https.secure configuration dictionary.
