This new release 10.1.0 follows on the heels of the major 10.0.0 that featured a number of API optimizations and new capabilities. In the current release, we are building upon functionalities that expand the use of existing Bosch IoT Suite cloud APIs to the edge, and offer even more flexibility for managing data and devices.
We also completed a vendor name change in all bundle manifest files or source files containing vendor name or copyright information. All former references to the old Bosch Software Innovations GmbH or Bosch-SI GmbH have been changed to Bosch.IO. This does not affect any backward incompatible changes such as package names or system properties.
Highlights include:
Local Things REST API support – represent devices in a consistent way as Bosch IoT Things both for cloud and local applications
Custom Azure IoTadapter working modes & messages – configure how data can be mapped, sent and represented in order to feed data to particular applications
ONVIF devices firmware upgrades – update with the desired version of devices operating software
EZSP version 6.7 support – EZSP is Silicon Labs' EmberZNet Serial Protocol (EZSP). Now the Zigbee module is compatible with controllers using the latest firmware
New History Web Console plug-in – use the web console to manage history entries, such as adding, removing, querying and more
Server Sent Events (SSE) support – subscribe to event notifications that are sent from a server. For example, get notified when the state of the Bosch IoT Things changes
