Installation

Automated Scripted Installation

The installation of the mDNS module can be performed through execution of a Kit Manager installation script "mDNS" located in bin/pscripts/mdns.txt)

To install the mDNS module, type the following command in the console:

fw>$kitman.install mDNS

The kitman command group is exported by the Kit Manager Bundle. The required bundles for the Scripting module are listed in the Manual Installation section below.

Manual Installation

In order to install the mDNS module manually, the following bundles from the <home>/runtime/osgi/bundles directory have to be installed and started with the install command options as follows:

• fw.i -s com.prosyst.mbs.mdns.api.jar
• fw.i -s javax.jmdns.jar
• fw.i -s com.prosyst.mbs.mdns.avahi.jar
• fw.i -s com.prosyst.mbs.mdns.jmdns.jar
• fw.i -s com.prosyst.mbs.mdns.commands.jar
