Module Description

The Web Console is a developer tool and must not be used in production.

The Web module provides functionality for managing the OSGi Framework implementation through the Web Console development tool, which is not designed for production purposes.

Feature Set

The module provides the following features and functionalities:

Web API – Support for the JQuery UI to the Apache Felix Console.
Web Console – Apache Felix Web Console tool to inspect and manage OSGi framework instances using your favorite Web Browsers.
Web Console Branding – A plugin to provide proprietary look-and-feel by customizing the Web Console.
Web Console Event – A plugin for maintaining OSGi events with the Web Console.
Web Console Password Authentication – A plugin for logging in the Web Console with a form-based password authentication.
Web Console Shell – A plugin for execution of framework commands through the Web Console.
Web Console Top – A plugin for advanced real-time thread status monitoring.
Web Console Useradmin – A plugin for displaying/managing OSGi Users and Groups with the Web Console.

Known Issues and Limitations

Localization UI does not work.
The flag and the locale are hard coded to US.
