Module Description

The JSON-RPC provides remote access to OSGi Runtime modules.

JSON-RPC is used to provide remote interface for communication with OSGi Runtime modules. It is implemented on top of HTTP/HTTPS to provide the groundwork for a highly scalable and easy to manage Web platform.

Feature Set

The module provides the following features and functionalities:

Ability to export new remote services (handlers) with remote methods.
Support for JSON-RPC requests/responses (call remote methods).
Support for notifications and remote events subscription through long poll and web sockets.
Support for authorization and authentication for remote call through the Policy Admin.
Out of the box remote handlers for common OSGi Runtime functions like Backup Admin, User Admin, etc.
