The Serial and Parallel Module allows you to use the serial and parallel ports available on your OSGi hardware platform - these can be physical ports (with DB9 serial connections, for example) or virtual implementations, like the FTDI driver implemented on several Linux kernels which allows you to use USB devices as if they were serial ports. |
