The PAR Editor supports several formats for including bundles in a PAR file reflecting the most popular ways in which bundles are distributed.

• From the workspace
  • As plugin project from the workspace
  • As ready archives included in the target platform of the Plug-in Development Environment.
• As ready archives residing outside Eclipse
• As Maven projects
  • From the workspace
  • From an external location

You can also define a requirement for a PAR file, which will be downloaded from the backend Software Repository upon building or installation. This feature is not fully supported yet.

To configure the content of a PAR file through the PAR Editor, go to the Contents tab.
