You can launch mBProfiler on a Java Application, a Remote Java Application, an Eclipse Application, an OSGi Framework, a JUnit Application or a JUnit Plug-in Application. Use one of the following ways:

• With the visual frontend:
  • Use a command on a selected file from workspace:
    • Click the button from the perspective's toolbar
    • Right-click the file and select any of the commands located in the Profile As submenu
    • Select an option from the Run > Profile As menu.
  • Include an application in a launch configuration:
    1. Open the Eclipse launch configurations in profiling mode:

       Use the Run > Profile as > Profile Configurations menu command

       Click the toolbar button.

    2. In the shown Profile Configurations dialog choose the launch configuration for the target Java application, modify its settings if needed, and click Profile.

  By default, after a profiling process has been initiated, you will be prompted to open the mBProfiler perspective. Its views show the collected profiling information in a friendly way. The perspective also provides all the commands you need to control the profiling process and related sessions within the process.
