Overview

The Home Zone Admin service (com.prosyst.mbs.services.hdm.zones.HomeZoneAdmin) provides a way for applications to control home zones. The main goals are:

• getting available home zones
• adding a new home zone
• removing existing home zones
• searching in all home zones for home devices by given filter

Registering Bundle

The Device Access Core bundle registers a com.prosyst.mbs.services.hdm.zones.HomeZoneAdmin service.

Enabling and Disabling the Home Zone Admin Service

By default the Home Zone Admin service is disabled because it is provided by the HDM API implementation. If you want to enable the Home Device Admin service, please follow the steps described in the HDM API Setup Guide.
