Details about the Zone Utility service provided by Device Access module.

Overview

The Zone Utility service (com.prosyst.mbs.services.hdm.util.event.ZoneUtility) allows you to easily subscribe to events fired by a specific group of home devices within specific home zones. Events of interest can be filtered by using LDAP filter for Home Devices and Home Zones.

Registering Bundle

The DA HDM API bundle registers a com.prosyst.mbs.services.hdm.util.event.ZoneUtility service.

Enabling and Disabling the Zone Utility Service

By default the Zone Utility service is disabled because this service is provided by HDM API Implementation. If you want to enable the Home Device Admin service, please follow the steps described in the HDM API Setup Guide.
