Functional items are represented as device twins. The user is able to control for which functional item they want to send device twin updates and for which they do not want to send device twin updates.

In the Device Visibility Configuration you can find the following configuration properties:

• Twin representation enabled - If enabled, the device twin updates are going to be sent for all functional items that do NOT match the filter provided in Twin representation enabling inversion filter.
• Twin representation enabling inversion filter - if disabled, the device twin updates are going to be sent only for these functional items that match the filter provided in Twin representation enabling inversion filter.

Example: Send device twin update for all functional items except functional item with uid da:device:admin
